Privacy Policy:

1.  Processing Personal Information

We only process our users‘ personal information as necessary to provide a functioning website, our services, and content. Our users‘ personal information is regularly only processed after the user’s consent. Exceptional cases are such cases, in which a prior consent cannot be obtained for actual reasons and the processing is permitted by legal regulations.

2.  Legal Bases for Processing Personal Information

When obtaining the data subject’s consent to processing personal information, the legal basis is Art. 6 Par. 1 lit. a EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). When processing personal information required for the performance of a contract, to which the data subject is a contracting party, the legal basis is Art. 6 Par. 1 lit. b GDPR. This also applies to processing steps required for pre-contractual activities. As far as the processing of personal information is required for meeting legal obligations to which our company is subject, the legal basis is Art. 6 Par. 1 lit. c GDPR. In case vital interests of the data subject or another natural person require the processing of personal information, the legal basis is Art. 6 Par. 1 lit. d GDPR. If the processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by our company or by a third party and if these interests are not overridden by the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject, the legal basis for processing is Art. 6 Par. 1 lit. f GDPR.

3.  Erasure of Personal Information and Storage Duration

The data subject‘s personal information will be erased or blocked, once the storage purpose is no longer applicable. Information may be stored beyond, if this was provided for by European or National legislation within Union law regulations, laws or other instructions, which apply to the data subject. Personal information will also be erased or blocked, in case a storage duration defined by the stated norms expires, unless a further storage is required for the conclusion or performance of a contract.

4. Contact and E-Mails

Information Processing

On our website, we provide a contact web form for contacting us in electronic form. If a data subject makes use of this offer, all information added to the web form will be sent to us and stored. This includes: surname, last name, e-mail address, phone number, subject of the message and text.

Alternatively, we may be contacted via the provided e-mail address. In this case, all personal information delivered with the e-mail will be stored.

In this context, no information will be passed on to third parties. The information will only be used for processing the conversation.

Legal Bases for Information Processing

With obtained user’s consent, the legal basis for information processing is Art. 6 Par. 1 lit. a GDPR.   The legal basis for processing information delivered in the course of an e-mail contact is Art. 6 Par. 1 lit. f GDPR. If the e-mail contact aims for concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for processing is Art. 6 Par. 1 lit. b GDPR.

Purpose of Information Processing

The processing of personal information delivered to us via the online web form serves solely us for processing the respective demand. In case of a contact via e-mail, there is a required legitimate interest in processing the data. All additionally processed personal information during the sending procedure serve for preventing the misuse of the contact web form and for ensuring the safety of our IT systems. 

Storage Duration

All information will be erased as soon as it is no longer required for attaining the purpose of its collection. This will be the case for personal information entered within the online web form or sent via e-mail, as soon as the respective conversation with the user is closed. A conversation is defined as closed, when the conclusive solution of an issue becomes clear by considering the circumstances. All personal information additionally collected during the sending procedure will be erased after seven days at the latest. 

Withdrawal of Consent and Erasure of Information

At any moment, the data subject may withdraw his consent to the processing of his personal information. If the data subject contacts us via e-mail, he may, at any time, object to the storage of his personal information. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued.

All personal information stored in the course of the contact will be erased in this case.

5. The Data Subject’s Rights

You may exercise the following rights at any time using the contact information of the data protection officer (“Datenschutzbeauftragter”):

  • access to the stored personal information about you and its processing,
  • rectification of incorrect personal erasure of stored information,
  • restriction of information processing, in case we are not allowed to erase information yet due to legal obligations,
  • objection to our processing of your personal information and
  • data portability, provided you have given your consent to information processing or have concluded a contract with us.

When having given a consent, you may revoke this consent at any time with respect to the future. You may at any moment lodge a complaint with the respective supervisory authority responsible for you. The respective supervisory authority is determined by federal state (“Bundesland”), domicile, your work or the presumed infringement .
