Standardized and at the same time flexibly combinable process modules for rapidly changing production tasks allow efficient production changeovers, as required, for example, for high product variance in small quantities. We develop modular production systems which, like a construction kit, can be optimally adapted to temporary customer and production situations. Modules can be added, exchanged or removed. They can also be upgraded with a microenvironment, resulting in a significant cost reduction compared to the maintenance of a classic cleanroom.
